Milland Valley Trail Race

About the Race

On Sunday 5th August 2012 starting at 10.30am

A 13 mile race over tracks, paths and quiet lanes and taking in the beautiful countryside on the Sussex/Surrey/Hampshire border around the village of Milland.  Come and run in one of the best areas of the newly created South Downs National Park ; the non-tourist part! The terrain is hilly and the race is particularly tough but the views more than make up for the pain!  Taking place in August, the weather can also be hot although water stations are provided along the route. The route will be way marked and manned (at critical points).

Prizes and momentos : Trophies will be awarded to 1st - 3rd ladies and men in age categories : senior (18-34 ladies / 18-39 men) and veteran (35-49 ladies / 40-54 men) and to the 1st and 2nd super veteran category (50 and over ladies / 55 and over men) . All finishes will be awarded a unique medal when crossing the finishing line.

Important notes: There will be no advanced life support ambulances only a St. Johns ambulance . Runners must be able to complete the course within 3 and 3/4 hours . Any falling behind this may be driven direct to the finish.

Entries on the Day: are taken but we would prefer pre-entry to save our hard working race officals time and queues. Note: entries on the day are subject to an additional £2 on top of the pre.entry fees.

Participants must be 18 or over years of age on the day of the race.
